Exploring the complete coastline of Ireland may take longer than you think! Any measurement of the length of Ireland coastline will depend on what is taken into account but if you were to walk the entire length it's actually just over 3,171 km (approx. 1,970 miles) in length (ref. OS Ireland), so it would take you a while. What would make it even longer will be stopping to admire the beauty of the unique features each part of the coast offers.
